Project In spirit

spire

inspirit verb

/inˈspi-rət/

  1. To inspire and uplift BIPOC and FGLI students by fostering creativity and self-expression through art. Our goal is to elevate the community, instill hope, and create a supportive space for artistic growth and healing. We strive to provide guidance, mentorship, and encouragement, especially in times of adversity, by offering free learning opportunities such as annual summer camps, community bus shelter mural projects, cancer center art therapy, and compression pad sewing projects. We also donate artwork to patient wings, with 100% of our proceeds supporting the cancer center.

Usage: The act of inspiriting involves empowering and uplifting individuals by instilling a positive and determined spirit through art, encouraging them to overcome obstacles, learn new skills, and embrace resilience.

We are a nonprofit organization founded with the mission to provide a safe and engaging learning space for those seeking solace.

Grow their creative minds

Each of our classes is built upon the idea of fostering a creative and innovative mindset, as our classes will be an opportunity for your child to unleash their inner creativity! Through hands-on learning, whether that be a crafting experience in art, painting a bus mural for the King County Metro, sewing swelling (compression) pads for cancer patients, or so much more, we have something for every age level.

Healing through music

Our program uniquely offers special music classes aimed to provide knowledge and experiences with different instruments our instructors play—from which note and sound each string makes and the basics of sightreading (in treble & bass clefs), to a demonstration/live playing of several music pieces for musical therapy. Join us to learn firsthand about the healing power of music!
